The X-Skin embroidery material is made by the well-known Swiss manufacturer Colltex. It has a lace protection at the front and a pocket that can be attached to a belt clip. It provides excellent grip.
For best performance, a water-repellent material is recommended. This reduces absorbency and improves slip resistance.
